Today, eight principals own a substantial equity stake in the firm. We believe our equity interest lends stability and provides the framework for our succession plan.
Our clients' investment results are directly dependent on the ability and long-standing experience of our two teams of investment professionals who manage ICM's Small Cap and Large Cap Value products. The strong long-term performance is indicative of their success.
ICM Organization
Small Cap Value Equity Team
Robert McDorman initiated the Small Cap Value effort at ICM in 1989 and remains the Chief Investment Officer for the product. Bill Heaphy and Sim Wooten serve with Bob as co-portfolio managers of the ICM Small Company Portfolio and the separately managed small cap accounts and all three have research responsibilities as well. Bill Heaphy serves as Director of Research for the small cap team. Gary Merwitz, Rob Jacapraro, Josh Overholt and Matt Fleming are security analysts that support the small cap team effort.
Large Cap Value Equity Team
ICM's Large Cap Value team is composed of six investment professionals who average 27 years experience in the business. Team members typically function as "investors," having responsibility for both security analysis and portfolio management. Don Hoelting, as CIO, and Vitaly Korchevsky have primary responsibility for idea generation and valuation work. Paul Borssuck manages the majority of relationships for the ICM Individual Capital Management (HNW) practice, and Steve Scott oversees many of the significant institutional accounts. Eddie Brown manages accounts for wealthy individuals and Drew Gilchrist provides perspective on the technology sector. Stuart Christhilf and Caroline Johnson are responsible for client service.
